WE BOUGHT INTO WESTGATE RESORTS UNDER ALOT OF LIES. AFTER WE BOUGHT IT IS WHEN WE GOT TO FINDING OUT THAT EVERYTHING THE LADY SAID WAS A LIE. WE DID GO A STAY A WEEK THERE IN WHICH THE SERVICE WAS NICE AND THE PLACE WAS BEAUTIFUL. BUT I JUST HATE THE WAY WE WERE COND INTO BUYING IT. I HOPE THE LADY THAT SOLD IT TO US IS HAPPY BECAUSE WE ARE NOT.

We signed up to tour this property when we were picking up our rental car on our vacation in Florida. Representatives of this company at the Thrifty Car Rental airport location indicate that tours of these resorts are restricted to heterosexual couples. Gays and lesbians are not allowed to tour these properties and they will remove you from the tour list if they find out you have a same sex partner. They try to get you to tour these properties at almost every tourist place in Orlando. They had space rented in most restaurants in Orlando, which leads me to believe that these places condone the discrimination. Everywhere we went, these people wanted us to tour the properties they have. I was pretty annoyed that I had to keep dealing with them after I was told I was not welcome. The good news is that they saved me from possibly purchasing one of the timeshares they have for sale. The comments I see from others who have purchased is that the Westgate resorts can be a nightmare. Gotta love these people. They are persistent even when they see you are there with someone of the same sex and they seem to have a policy against same sex couples buying or touring the different properties they have in the Orlando area. The map they provide is not very good either.
