Voice break up - Magic Jack

Majicjack is a neat product but I'm suspecting the complaints, and my own experience of voice breakup is due to network packet jitter. MJ is not going through telephone exchanges. You can tell by the 3 digits after the area code. These 3 digits identify the entry point of your data stream and it is not any number of my local telephone company. This problem of voice breakup on receive is preventing my selecting MJ as my primary phone. MJ is very useful on trips though. I have found if breakups occur, by recalling the number the problem is usually fixed, probably because packets are sent via another route that does not have as much jitter.

Thanks for the recommendation. It is embassaring though to ask a client you are trying to sell conduct a business deal with, can I call you back? lol But I will take it on leisure trips when calling the kids but will go back to land lines for my business. MJ advertises great for businesses...lol People, do not buy to use with Business calls or chance frustrating your clients as well! No conference calls too. MJ blocks them. You have to use your cell phone or recreate another conference call with no webinar connections they provide. They force you to use thiers and although free does not have quality for web connections for presentations. This is too elementary for most businesses.
