Got charged $189 after 21 days but wasn't suppose to and they act like they can't find me on their system.

They can find me for sure but it's part of their game.

Beware!

This is a very greedy company that runs a very immoral scam. I am no newbie to signing up for trials, so I know how to look for the fine print, and cancel. However, Video professor is another case. I had canceled my trial just in time, and they had given me a confirmation code. The sales rep NEVER told me it was a return confirmation number or that I had 10 days to return it.

Anyway, after arguing with them, they finally told me they would refund my money back.... after 21 to 30 business days! I thought this was ridiculous, because other companies have refunded me back sooner than a month! I just got my bank involved, filed a dispute, and I'm getting my money back from the bank within 5 to seven business days.

Stay away from Video professor, and if you're a victim, get your bank or credit card company involved!

I was scammed as well by their very well hidden notice of return and amount to be charged (without authorization) to your credit card. Of course, I'm out the money at this point because I don't balance my statements in a timely fashion! I am reporting to my local news and if anyone in SC contact WIS NEws On Your Side. Let's all contact the Today Show, I filed a BBB complaint but not helping they are firing off letters to me but not authorizing me to return software for refun!!

They tried to scam me out of $189.00. they lied everytime I called, they word say I would have the check back in 2 weeks, then after 2 weeks I called back and they said another 2 weeks or that they sent it always a new lie, what they are doing is stalling as after 30 or 60 days you will not be able to get your money back. you must get your bank or credit card company involved in order to get your money back. Do not delay call the bankand or credit card company do not delay they are liars and you will lose your money. I got my money back as soon as I got my bank card involved. We need to ban together and start a class action suit against the video professor and the TV station that sells him the time to air his scam. Mari7223@aol.com let's do it!

I just got billed 189dollars this morning. I made my order on the 14th, got it on the 21st, got charged on the 27th(today). I managed to get a nice lady on phone, she explained everything to me. I was charged 189 dollars because its the price they have on their site(now i guess), thats what i was charged after my 10day trial, which was kinda dumb, but she said she'd send me a 75dollar rebate... I guess I at least get something back. She also let me get a free lesson since i was already registered in ABSOLUTELY FREE, NO CHARGE AT ALL, she said. I confirmed with her a couple times to see if she was serious, that's what she said i won't be charged and she canceled my account out so I won't be charged anymore at all. So i guess i have to wait and see what happens... This so messed up though... I really hope this doesn't comeback to bite AGAIN!

My name is Dan. You are absolutely right. Video Professor told me I would receive one free lesson if I only paid for shipping and handling. The total it said would be charged on my card was $4.95. I was instantly charged $180 something. I called and they make no apologies and say there's nothing they can do. I'm a UFC fighter and there's nothing I'd rather do than pop his little bald head off right now. Argghhhhhhh. Contact me at dhuse10@gmail.com

Absolutely scammed. This should be stopped. No wonder America is in as much trouble as it is. If their product had credibility you wouldn't have to reduce to such abuse. I, too, asked for a supervisor to correct the charge of $189 and agreed to send it back.
There is no receipt in your box when it arrives and the letter has no date on it as well. The fine print is inside the book on one of the pages. There is nothing that tells you on the letter that you need to address this within 10 days. They forward material that you don't want and then it rests on your back to send it back in or get charged - then when they charge you - if you want a credit it will take 21-30 more days. America should stand up to con-artists like this. People are incarcerated for stealing from others - why is this allowed. They are doing the same and they continue to get by with it. Webster's dictionary should read 'Free' - another name for scam.

We just got it for 189.95 too for a "free" DVD on EBAY!!Called to have charges removed and CS rep and supervisor very rude. Would not listen to me regarding my complaint and told me that I should have opened to package and read the terms as soon as it arrived. I asked them to produce the taped phone conversation of their sales rep confirming to me multiple times that "nothing" would be charged to our credit card. They said that the calls were for their records. I will not quit until this money is refunded. This is an out-right scam and it should have been stopped years ago. We are having our credit card company look into the unauthorized charges and are hoping that they will be more effective then we have been! Good luck to all scammed. File compaints everywhere you can...maybe we can all get some justice!

I got hit for 189...they agreed to refund but said it would take tree to four weeks...So I called my bank an conference called video professor with my bank to verify the refund that would be coming. Once verified over the phone. My bank released the hold on my account for the 189.00 and 6.95. Pending the actual refund...Now I must fill out an afidavit at the bank incase they do not refund as promised.

Video Professor duped me out of $259.90. I returned the unopened products by certified mail. When they asked for proof of return I sent copies of certified mail receipts and US postal service tracking records signed by Video professor employees. Then they lied to me that the refund would be made to my visa card within 60 days. Beware of this fraud! You will pay dearly for dealing with them. Report your experience to the Colorado Attorney General.

I have been dealing with the same BS now for over 45 days... and still getting the same run-around! I was promised my refund would be posted NLT 3 different times and still not done. Have talked w/1 supervisor after another and received the info that they would expedite my refund but it will take another 7-10 days to get any results. THIS is simply the biggest example of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen. I am in process of drafting a letter to the editor, and will transmit it to every newspaper I can, nationwide to warn other consumers. I feel it is the only way to get their attention... as mentioning filing a complaint w/BBB brings no response at all. I WILL get my $189.95 back or else!
