When I was scanning the site I saw a few reviews for Vanity Fair magazine and wanted to pitch in my two cents as this is a magazine that my mother has been 'addicted' to since I can remember. I have literally seen it change from a socially conscious magazine with articles for BOTH the thinking woman and man to a parade of thirteen year old girls sussed up in couture. Now it's not ALL fluff and fashion and we must admit this is a foundation of the magazine, fair enough BUT in this day and age you'd think the mag would work a bit harder to draw in the newer generations of thinking women who DO have the money to buy the wares they're hawking rather than the teen set who somehow ASPIRE to be these paper thin heroine-eyed goddesses but can't yet afford anything more than the magazine itself. Perplexing.
