I noticed last time I was in LA, that the Fairfax Peerless store had closed! (I believe only 2 of their former 5 locations are still standing)! The company is poorly run; like a Hitler regime, and the employees are treated unkindly, unfairly, & underpaid. The employees work 6 days @ week with no overtime pay & barely a lunch break! Their supervisors are incompetent bufoons with no optical knowledge and fire people for no reason because they are on a power trip. The owner denies the worker's unemployment, so he can keep up his 5 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion! I strongly recommend not buying eyeglasses at this company, unless you want cheap quality Chinese frames and lenses made by low-skilled laborers.
