Unbelievably Poor Service!! - Visionwear

I found out that my three year old needed glasses. After visiting two different optometrists, we were referred to a specialist two hours from my home. I obtained my son's prescription and went to Walmart Vision Center in Carbondale, IL to purchase two pair of glasses. I purchased them and picked them up a week later. I asked that they check my son's vision with the glasses on to make sure that he could see correctly and they informed me that since he had not gotten his exam from their doctor that they could not check him. I guess they were not concerned whether or not a small child could see out of the glasses that THEY made. They were VERY rude and after checking with their doctor informed me that if I wanted to pay for another exam then he would check to make sure he could see. Obviously, a three year old does not have the skills to let me know if he could see correctly from his new glasses. I know where I will NOT be buying my son's next pair of glasses!!! Very unprofessional staff. The only reason that I did not return the glasses on the spot (I had 60 days unconditional terms) is because I did not want to punish my son just to spite them. Very dissatisfied!!!!!!!!!!!!
