UPS customer service unbelievable

Today is a nightmare for me. I had an encounter with UPS employee who did not know how to use its judgement implementing UPS policy. I went to pick up my package at UPS in Arminta St Van Nuys today April 7, 2009 at around 7:45pm. I was able to bring home the package from TMOBILE. The reason given to me by UPS employee is that my drivers license address doesnt match the address that is on the package. I was telling her that it is the same drivers license id that i gave UPS employee way back November 14, 2008 when i pick same package from UPS. I cant change the drivers license address over night. I moved from my previous address on November, 2008. I was so upset because she even asked me who is the ups employee that release the package to me. this is ridiculous. how will i remember the name of ups employee three months ago. i dont even ask his name. I hope this will be elevated to higher management. Please look into this matter. It is a pity because UPS is a big company but they are hiring incompetent personnel who do not use proper judgment. I vowed I will never pick up a package and UPS services ever!!!!!

The UPS location in Van Nuys on Arminta Street is ridiculous. They left a notice on our door and we signed the back so they would leave the package the following day. They left another notice saying they would redeliver the following day. We signed a 2nd time for the package and still they did not leave it. I called the location and asked them to hold it for pick up and that I would be picking it up for my boyfriend what did I need to bring for them to release the package? They said something linking me to the delivery address. So I brought a bank statement and a bill linking both of us to the address. I told her what I had and tried to show it to her and she said I just need your ID, without looking at the other information and she wouldn't accept it when I got there. So I had to wait almost 2 hours and my boyfriend had to take off of work to bring his ID. When he got there they wouldn't accept his ID because it didn't have his company name on it. After arguing for a while another employee came out and I showed him what I had brought and he said "Why didn't you just show us that in the first place?". My head nearly exploded. Every time I am at this location the wait is anywhere from 45 mintues to 1.5 hours long and the employees are the most difficult people to deal with. I have had several ridiculous experiences over there.
