Transformers movie great effects a bit too mature in some ways

Well I finally got a chance to see the Transformers movie and have to say I was more than impressed with the special effects. Great movie overall, although a bit noisy for my nine year old who loves the cartoons but kept looking at me with a big grimace on his face each time something exploded. Not so much a family film, at least not by my standards - my kid does not need to see a tarted up Megan Fox this young..but whatever. Unavoidable in today's society.
