First World Platinum Complaint

This is a Big Scam - Don't fall for the positive reviews - First World Platinum

I just wanted to let you know this company (Vantex Group) goes as several different names. I was also ripped off by them, so I have done a lot of research. It looks as though they either get you to "buy" their product at their site, or deceptively have you "opt in" on very shady cash advance sites.

First of all check your credit card for any charges for Voice Mail and ID Theft. They add these 2 products if you ordered it on their site. They hide this on the second page of all their sites at the bottom. You think you are just buying a credit card. Turns out you are buying a really bad credit line to buy things only on their website....and they also give you 2 "free" trials to Vcomm Voicemail and ID Watchdog identity theft protection. This is free for a few days unless you cancel. Problem is that you probably never knew that you purchased this. They don't even ask if you want it. They just hide it way at the bottom of the page. Way below the submit button or anything else of importance. This is deceptive advertising. Please stay clear from this scam.

Also, here are other scam sites that Vantex Group (vantexgroup.com) runs that are similar: First Plus Platinum Credit - firstplusplatinumoffer.com; Centennial One Platinum Credit - centennialoneplatinumoffer.com; (Approvals With Bad Credit) AWBC Platinum Credit - awbcplatinumoffer.com; Global Gold Credit - globalgoldcreditoffer.com; First National Gold Credit - firstnationalgoldoffer.com; First Universal Platinum Credit - firstuniversalplatinumoffer.com; First World Platinum Credit - firstworldplatinumoffer.com

I just want to know if I can still get a hold of these people!! I really really wish I would have looked into these reviews before I applied! None of the websites or phone numbers will work. What a SCAM!! If I could get a hold of them then I would have my lawyer call and sue their butts!!

No matter what irislane would like you to believe any unautorized charges made on your credit card is fraud, so that information not being in bold large letters and in plain site is fraud, selling my card # to other companies for unauthorized purchases is fraud. The reason they only want $2.98 to sign up is to get the access to your card to sell that inormation to other companies to make unautorized debits to that account then they over draw it and you have to cancel the card and wait for another. Dont fall prey to this scam take it from someone who knows there is no credit here only debit!

I signed up for AWBC platinum BEFORE I read the rip off report comments. Big mistake! I was looking to build my credit,(as the advertising promises)and accept a credit card to use due to my bad credit. I realized the same day, after I gave the company $1.00 from my Visa debit card, that I had been "duped"! I called to cancel the same day and made sure to call both VCOMM and the other 1-800 number. I made the customer service rep repeat to me several times that there would be NO FURTHER charges to my debit, he did so! I recieved an e-mail of cancellation from AWBC and left it alone. Two weeks later I was charged $14.95 on my visa debit by this company. I called, and even though I had e-mail confirmation two weeks prior to prove cancellation, they said I did not cancel. I had to cancel my debit card with my bank to avoid any further charges and wait several weeks for another to be mailed. This company is FRAUDULANT and should be shut down. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFO.! Research all there names.

Thank you so much for your input. I was just about to sign up for this card when my instincts told me to look online for further details. The first thing that popped up when I Googled the name was your comment. I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to do this!!!

Sparkles: I think you're overreacting, despite the fact you mentioned that the other offers (products) are at the bottom of the page doesn't make it a SCAM much less a FRAUD. They did not place it on top because its not their primary product I guess, so what could be wrong with that? Your insinuation on online shopping is pathetic.
