Navis Pack and Ship Complaint
The package was NEVER shipped

In late December 2007, I contracted the Oklahoma City, OK Navis office to pick up and ship an Oklahoma DCS auction winning for a fee of $89. The auction item was picked up just before end of year. The auction item price was only $25. In the middle of January , daily calls and a few emails are sent to the store to find out the status of the package. Never was a call or email returned with any status or shipping number. On February 1, Navis corporate was contacted to assist as a customer advocate. They were helpful. It was then found out that the Navis franchise in Oklahoma City closed and that all packages should have been shipped or completed. Eventually contact was made with a regional or district Navis representative. He admitted that the package was NEVER shipped, had been seen, but was lost in the shuttering of the store. This particular $25 auction win may have been seen as of lesser value than shipments was abandoned. Pretty sad. Please do not ever use this service unless you personally know individual store management, it is only as good as the Franchisee.
After reviewing the Oklahoma City metro, there are other Navis offices in the area. Perhaps Navis corporate should have a process where "no package left behind" and a sister office takes over when a Franchise is closed.
