The Unwanted Visitor - Rodent exclusion

On May 1, 2008, I called ABC pest control to get a price on removing a pest from my attic. An inspector was sent out the same day and he gave me a quote for the rodent exclusion, signature pest control and termites. I was told that payment was due at the initial service and I gave my card information. A date was set for the initial service - May 5, 2008. It rained a technician called to say that the work could not be done in the rain. He told me that some would call to reschedule the appointment. No one called that afternoon and I waited until the next day and called to say the appointed was cancelled and that it needed to be rescheduled. I was given Thursday - May 8, 2006. The technician arrived and was not prepared to the work. He treated the yard for fire-ants and did the termite treatment. He set traps but did not close any openings to prevent future invasions. Rodents are still in the attic. He said he would have to come back to complete the job and told me some one would call to schedule a time to do this. No one called that afternoon or the next day.
I called on Saturday and spoke with a gentleman that assured me that some one would be out on Monday by 12 between 12:00 and 2:00 pm to complete the job. No one came. I called back and was given a new time for the day - between 4:00 and 6:00 pm and

NO ONE CAME. The technician called at 5:43 pm and left a message on my cell phone (received after 6:00 pm)– it was too late for him to come out and some one would call me to reschedule the work. I am still waiting.

Because of my frustration, my daughter called and was told that the management was in a meeting and they would have to call her back.

It is so funny that ABC Pest control did not wait for their money which was extracted from my checking account before a technician ever set foot on my property. When is it

time ask for a refund for services not rendered.

I had the same experience and I even spoke with Mr Jenkins who assured me after 6 missed appointments that somebody would be out and at the time I had 2 small babies!!! I was told that I could have cancelled the service anytime prior to the scheduled date (they didn't show up to...) When I talked to him he advised that since I live close to water I would need to invest in bait boxes and that every month ABC would come by and fill them up so at $20.00 a pop I bought 8 of them, took them home and baited them myself. They did work but nobody ever came out to replenish the poison or to complete the exlclusion that was over $600. To dtae I never got anything from them, except an apologize and tons of promises that they would come and get it done.
