The other day I stopped by our local BR to get a vanilla shake. The ice cream must have been blessed by the pope because the dang thing cost $5.00!!! For a medium shake. I know I could have gone elsewhere but I wanted the darn shake and I thought I misheard the server. And it did not taste like a $5.00 shake. Chik-Fila have much better shakes for like a dollar 50.

Bascially we are paying the price for the name of the company and "not" the quality..We really don't know how their ice cream really stacks up to others that we see in the ice cream isle.. It's just more variety to choose from, is the only advantage of going to Baskin Robbins.. I feel your pain,and have been there many times..Need more ice cream shops to compete with them..

I just bought a half gallon of organic ice cream with real vanilla bean for that price.
Baskin Robbins is mostly non-dairy guargum crap anyway.
