This is just the usual chain store. They dont seem to be hiring anyone who knows alot about pools. Also they could use some training in the customer service area. I have had my pool for 20yrs and a avoid Leslies as much as I can. Ive been to several locations and... More...

i worked for leslies for a couple month stint. they never trained me properly. they throw their employees to the wolves in all regards - pool knowledge, using their computer system (which is broken), everything, even the attitudes of the management and corporate people are miserable - a total bunch of thieves.

It's unfortunate that you had to experience a manager lacking in knowledge... I do have to say that there are quite a few Leslie's managers who are far and above the competition in pool knowledge... perhaps try a different store.

Order your stuff on-line. It's cheaper. I order from poolcenter.com. Leslies is terrible. Even their management is terrible.
