Tech Support....frustrating

It is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had.There is only a chatting service. People giving you totally different advice,not solving the problem.I lost connection with them several times. It was really bad. It is not as simple to use as it is advertised. I think that they are underserviced when it comes to tech support.Yes,you save money but you will be very frustrated....

My call quality with magic jack is terrible. I tried to trouble shoot but chat support is terrible. they sent me a link to supposedly fix my magic jack (I wanted a replacement because I think the jack itself is defective) I installed the update and have been getting the blue screen of death ever since. Had to reformat my hd and reinstall the os. i think the $40 i spent on this pos is really a total loss. I do not recommend the jack. it is a rip off.

i had the worst experience with magicjack customer service agents. in total, i have tried to resolve the problem with them for 6 hours - 3 hours on a sunday and another 3 hours today. they asked me to perform exactly the same procedures for at least 5 times. when they did not have another step on their checklist, they'll go back to step 1. never an option to replace the gadget. after 5 times and 6 hours, i asked if there would ever be another step other than the once we've done already, and they said "just to it". the agent (name is Quinn) told me that if i do not want to cooperate, i am free to end the session anytime. After 6 hours? He'd say I did not cooperate? So, of course, I gave in, I said -- ok, what's the next step? and so he instructed me to do step 1 of the process again. So practically, $40+ down the drain. I will go back to my old voip provider, Aspen. Very good service but expensive, $35 per month. After all, you get what you paid for.

I have experienced everything you just said their chat SUCKs they are helping 10 ppl at once...if u ask them too hard a question yer switched to another agent and u have to start all over again..they have HORRIBLE customer service....no way to call them no address to mail a question YOU are forced to wasted at least an hour on each chat, because they never can fix the problem, and REFUSE TO REPLACE THE MJ...I've been in tears because the chat is SO slow and frustrating...they are makiing billions on this shoddy product and wont back it up with a replacement, like any other reputable company would , on a scale from 1 to 10 they score a -5 in my book!!!!

terrible customer no service. i was completely dropped, after being given something to click on in order to get a refund on the magic jack. I hooked up the magic jack and when i found that i had to change phone number, i did not activate. Now my landline phone wont work, and they cannot seem to understand plain english. They did not help me. I get no dialtone on the landline phone. I wish i had never heard of it.

Terrible product, worthless customer support in every regard, and every possible dollar saved - IF THE PRODUCT WORKED WHICH IT DOES NOT - was not worth the last 6 hours of exasperation. TRUST ME PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE ONE MINUTE OF YOUR LIFE EVEN CONSIDERING THIS PRODUCT. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.

This is the single worst product/scam I have ever encountered. The product comes with absolutely zero information on support - no phone numbers, no return information, etc. IF you can figure out to contact their "chat" support, they leave you hanging with "I'm going to send you to a supervisor" which I did, three times, and never a supervisor did come. I watched the screen for half an hour each time. When I ordered initially I gave a debit card number; there was an email to the effect that the "amazing" offer I responded to was only for credit card customers and that if I wanted to continue with my order I would need to re-submit a credit card... which I did. They billed BOTH the debit card AND the credit card. These issues are sort of beside the issue that the product simply does NOT work. It took nearly two hours for me to download various "upgrades" and to go to "my computer" and double click various things (all of which I had to figure out myself and I'm computer illiterate)before the phone actually had a dial tone. From there - I actually did make one successful phone call - it became apparent that incoming calls did not ring through. I tried from my cell and from my existing land line. No ringy-dingy. At all. After two hours of trying to access the "chat" support and actually chatting to someone about this issue - prior attempts had been about the double billing issue and trying to get it to work on outgoing calls - I was told via chat that "I was fully upgraded and everything should work just fine." Again, no incoming calls rang through, no connection to voice mail which I had carefully set up, NOTHING. And finally, ALL should be aware that IF you can get the product to work on ANY front at all, it ONLY works if your computer is actively up and running - and I mean the screen has to be lit up. So if your computer "rests" between uses, NEITHER the outgoing or incoming phone works at all. Pick up you handset - nothing. And I never did get the incoming calls to either "ring" OR go to voice mail. This product is the biggest scam/piece of junk, zero customer assistance/service loser I have ever encountered. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I can't get my MagicJack back. Everytime I plug it in it takes me to a free trial page. I already own a MagicJack and Phone No. I must have erased something.

The most frustratin poorest customer service I have everr experienced is MAGICJACK. I tried to order on 17th Dec 08. Due to soem bug in their system it kept erroring out twice. on 28th I placed my thrid order with different card and it did the same. on 30th one of their supervisor corrected everrything and promissed that it would reach me by 3rd Jan and it did not. Magicjack guys say the order is lost (irresponsible guys). Finally I had to cancel my order. After suffering all this shit the customer service is not at all ready to compensate a penny to me. everytime you speak to an agent they say wait for another 3-5 days. I do not understand why cannot they just send it next day delivery if they have messed up so much with an order. They do not have phone service and live agents will be chatting with dozen other customers. Many of the times they have sent me stupid messages and then apologized and immediately transfers the call to the higher support agent (The most easiest way to escape). I finally had to cancel my order. Just imagine if this is the service when you order then what will it be like if the product is not working fine. I know we pay less but the package is coming with a bundle of frustration worth 400 USD.
