Team Double Click Complaint
Team Double Click Feedback

I have been working on establishing my virtual assistance practice for the past few months and contacted Team Double Click to see if they could be useful to me in further developing my business, securing clients, networking, etc. BUT they were RUDE and condescending to me. Plus they expect you to be available 24-7 and the rate of pay is ridiculously low (they take a cut off the top of course but please be reasonable!)
I realized soon after my interaction with Team Double Click that I am better off marketing myself on my own and working to develop my own clientele.
If that's how you treat your potential VA partners, how do you treat the clients???

Not working with them and can't say it is a bad thing. I personally do not think they are anything but a group of snobbish people in NYC who network and get contracts but their good clients do not know how they treat their contractors.

Sadly I have watched Team Double Click change into another large corporate monster who has absolutely no regard for their "employees". Yes, I said that nasty word.
There have always been daily report and thats a good thing, since in the beginning they used those reports to back up the VAs in case the client suddenly decided to be nasty (it happens now and then). The the daily Are You Available email....not sure why they need to know that I am in my office by 10 AM CST everyday, seems like my schedule would be worked out between me and my clients. Then came the 30-day money back gaurantee, which is MANDATORY for every VA. Next was the Virtual Office, thats a royal pain in the fanny, because we were told that implementation of that particular tool would make the daily reports go away..That wasn't the case at all.
When a client leaves/cancels their contract with Team Double Click (Ive seen a lot of that, especially lately) there are the DO NOT CONTACT THIS PERSON AGAIN FOR ANY REASON emails and the send us proof that you have returned all of their files and you have NOTHING on your computer that pertains to that client. Send ALL files to your Team Double Click Representative.... Here is the nasty part....if this particular client chooses NOT to verify to Team Double Click that they have recieved all files Team Double Click has the right to HOLD ALL PAY from you until the issue is resolved. I don't mean pay for that particular client. I mean pay from ALL of your clients! Look at it this way...a client who you worked 2 hours a week, wait there is a 3 hour minimum can hold up your pay from a client you worked 35 hours for. Team Double Click isn't going to TELL you that you aren't getting paid or why. You will have to go in search of answers.
All that being said...If you are a NEW VA, this company can provide you with some excellent experience and training, IF you can get in the door.
The Core team members, most all of whom put in way more than they could ever get back from that position (I personally wouldn't touch it with a 10-ft pole), are awesome. These guys are helpful and very hard working. The other VA's I was able to "meet" along the way have become like family to me.
Team Double Click is your choice. Not a bad place to start, but you have to have your wits about you and pay close attention to the way things are being done.
I sure miss the OLD Team Double Click.
