Target s return policy I was given stuff with tags on it as a present for my child and it was wrong size and because I had no reciept they will not take it back I wouldn't have a problem with this if it was not the fact of all I wanted to do is get the $33.00 my sister spent used for something that would fit the kid. like either more clothing or shoes or even a school bag and school supplies for the child

Target, like most corporations, require a receipt for returns. It's printed on the receipt and at every register. This is not something new in our society. Get the receipt and make the return. Target does not restrict the number of times they will use Receipt Lookup and there is no paperwork when they do use it. As an employee of 7 years, I can tell you that this is simply false.

I agree. Target will only accept returned items without receipts if you want to exchange for the SAME EXACT ITEM. They also can look up your purchase by your credit card but will only "allow" this 3 x per year and you have to fill out all this paperwork. RIDICULOUS return policy.
