I had one of the worst experiences at this place, and I left shaking with anger and frustration. After the guy behind the counter forgot the coffee my friend and I ordered 20 minutes before, he apologized profusely and then kindly offered my friend and I a slice of carrot cake. Since we were already running late and still needed the coffee, we nibbled on the carrot cake while we waited for our order to be placed.

That is when the owner, "MEAN Lady Jane" came by and said, "You know, usually, if you're going to eat it here, we'd charge you the extra tax." After explaining the circumstances to her, she said, "You didn't pay for that? Someone comped that for you? I mean, usually we would just comp the coffee, not a slice of cake." My friend and I were bewildered and said, "Would you like us to PAY for it? If thats the problem, we have the money." She then said, "No, we would just normally comp the coffee not the cake....who gave it to you?"

Not wanting to get the guy in trouble, we said we couldn't remember. The owner then went behind the counter and proceded to ask all of the workers which one of them gave us the slice of cake. Right in front of us! They then continued to talk and point to us while we just sat there completely dumbfounded.

I have not gone back since and have heard NUMEROUS complaints about how awful their customer service is. I have since convinced many people not to return and hope you will do the same. :)
