Supercuts Charges Extra for a Preferred Stylist!
Supercuts - Wantagh, New York
The Supercuts chain of hair salons is doing something that I think is outrageous and possibly even illegal! Starting April 1, if you walk into any Supercuts salon and request a specific stylist, you will be charged $2 extra. The reason I go to Supercuts -- and have been doing so for at least 12 years -- is because I love my stylist, Ingrid. It's not that the other stylists sit around and twiddle their thumbs while Ingrid is busy with me ... they all have customers to take care of.

When I emailed the Regis Corp. (the company that owns Supercuts) to complain all I got was a lousy "thank you for your comments" form letter.

Is it right to charge extra for a stylist you like? Is this legal?
