Subject US Airways

I received an automated call advising me of an 89 minute Flight delay and adjusted my plans accordingly. Upon checking in I was advised the flight had never been delayed and I would need to purchase a ticket .

I escalted and the agents were able to verify on US Airways system that they had indeed called me, however my flight was delayed and left on time - they rebooked me for a flight 6 hours later!!

Upon calling Customer Service and waiting in queue for 30 minutes and then on holf for another 15minutes KAthleen Clark of the PHX office told me that even if US Airways did call yme - was responsible for coming to the airport at the original time and that US airways was under no obligation to place a second call to advise the flight was not delayed . After escalting, MS Clark refused to let me spaek to a manager I was offered a $150 travel voucher for my 6hr wait time.

If you have a choice do not fly with US Airways

I called US Airways' customer relations department regarding an issue with two vouchers I was told I would receive. The customer reltaions department would not even take my call, saying that no one was available to speak to me personally and I should just leave an email. So I called the other contact numbers provided on the website in an attempt to speak with ANYONE at all. While I was able to speak with MANY different representatives as I was disconnected or transferred TEN times, no one was able to answer my question or help me. The customer service reps at US Airways are severely inept and apparently very poorly trained in dealing with customer questions and needs. I even spoke with a manager and explained to her that I had been transferred six times and did NOT wish to be transferred again and she put me on hold and never came back to my call! I spent an obscene amount of time on the phone just trying to have one question answered and never did get the help I needed. If it's humanly possible, I will NEVER book a flight with US Airways again, simply to avoid dealing with their pathetic, frustrating customer service department. They should really remove the "customer relations" link from their website, because they actually have NO customer relations.

I lost my I Pod and expensive glasses after they were checked inside my luggage. I am requesting their replacements. costing $700. please EMail lost of properties forms.
