Stubhub Ripoff - Baseball Tickets

I should've checked out the reviews before trying to get tickets at StubHub.com! I purchased 2 tickets the night before an afternoon baseball game. I received the sale "confirmation" in my Yahoo email immediately after the purchase, and it noted that the tickets would take "a few minutes to arrive." After finding nothing in my inbox the next morning, my journey began. Here are the quick & dirty stats:

6 phone calls to customer service (4 customer service reps and 2 "supervisors")
5 statements from reps and supervisors claiming, "We show that we've sent the tickets 3 times...are you sure you checked your spam settings?"
7 times on hold for a total of about an hour
0 tickets - they never did arrive, even after the event was over

The tipping point was this: After I offered to provide 2 more email addresses to test their systems, the last supervisor (perhaps after realizing I wasn't about to give up), finally declared that it would just be easier to refund my sale. Ya think? I'll believe it when I see it in my bank statement.

The toughest part is that this game was a Father's Day gift. I was looking forward to an afternoon with my daughter, under the sun, close to the field, within shouting distance of her favorite first baseman. To add insult to injury, the home team scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning.

Stubhub--what a complete joke. I will do my part to make sure that nobody I know goes near them!

AND they are THIRD party, you're not buying from ticketmaster or the box office.. you're buying from some OTHER idiot trying to sell their tickets!! if you're lucky your seller will be a BROKER and youll get UPGRADED seats which happens more time than not.

email is email, it is not stubhubs fault you did not get the email maybe your computer sucked. you tihnk their goal is to screw you?? exactly, you think they want to spend five hours on the phone with a butt head???
