RUINS DVD PLAYERS CHICAGO, IL Broadway Location

The folks who work there are fabulous. However, the DVD's there first ruined MY dvd player and now have ruined my best friend's entire DVD system!

They burn a lot of their cd's apparently. (thought that was illegal?) Anyways, it's in the fine print when you sign a contract there that they aren't responsible for any damage to your machines.

What a bunch of bull crap. I returned movies late there and two days later my credit card is charged for five bucks, but they aren't responsible for ruining a machine that's $100 plus????

who spends 100+ dollars on a dvd player? a 20 dollar one from KMart does just as well, and will probably play all the DVDs your expensive POS doesn't. also, DVDs can't ruin DVD players. that's an uneducated statement. the worst thing a DVD can do to a player is to not play.
