Please Improve

So on Febuary 1st I pre-ordered 2 dozen roses to be delivered to my wife on Valentines Day

So on Febuary 1st I pre-ordered 2 dozen roses to be delivered to my wife on Valentines Day. One would figure that 1-800-Flowers.com in return would call a local florist soon there after and make the arrangements. Well its Valentines Day and I get a call from 1-800-Flowers.com at 7:30 a.m. telling me that they cant complete my order and they are going to have to send me a refund. THE DAY OF THE DELIVER!! Being the curious person I am I asked if they had waited to order the flowers till now and their represenative wouldnt answer me. So instead of my wife getting the flowers I ordered they will send me a $25 gift card FOR THEIR SITE. WOOHOO thats exactly what I want!! Yeah I am really going to trust your site to do anything. want to know the quickest way to lose a customer? Dont give them what they paid for. People in general are not happy when they HAVE to spend $$. But when they get the chance to spend money on something they WANT and they dont get it, it seems to make them angry for some reason. Figured if I post something here someone will not have to deal with the hastle that 1-800-flowers.com brings to life.

I have had the worst customer service experience with 1-800-flowers. They even admitted they made a mistake, but still didn't issue my refund. I am filing a claim through Visa now. You might check with your credit card company or bank and have them investigate for you. I have had to do this one time in my entire adult life, but Visa took care of everything for me.

I also had a problem with customer service that day & the following day. After customer service was no longer receiveing phone calls, the company continued to take orders.Please report to Better Business Bureau and continue to work hard at spreading the word.
