Snack Basket? - unknown

The product arrived promptly on the day promised, a very large box that was uncommonly light. The contents was nicely packaged with ribbons and arranged in a basket. The contents was most disappointing, it consisted of packages of individual items, of unknown brands, of obscure manufacture. Three small pieces of unrefined fudge, three stale truffles, two very tiny pieces of biscotti, about 20 jelly beans, a number one-ounce boxes of crackers, and a container of cheese whiz masquerating as a brie spread. Each of the items reminded me of snacks passed out in an airplane, in an airline on hard times.

Since it was a gift to me, I find it difficult to be honest with the giver of this who probably was impressed by the website. My company, however, uses services like bloomex claims to be, but I consider myself fortunate to have sampled the product before using the service. I don't expect this company to be around very long, and anyone who is a shareholder should try to unload as quickly as they can.

What good is a credit with a company that I dont trust to a)deliver on time and b) don't trust to deliver the proper product and c) if there is a problem is almost impossible to contact without hours spent in effort?

Yes I received a credit..After 1 week of non-delivery all my time and effort and then the wrong delivery...I felt I deserved a full refund. You say you re-delivered the basket I originally ordered..YOU did not!! You delivered yet another cheap basket with a few chocolates, cookies and such when I originally ordered a basket of gourmet food items. After a week of attempting contact, once again, I'm being ignored.

I was told this was an 'error'..yet after the wrong order I was told that Bloomex had 'run out' of certain product..it appears that when my new basket was delivered, they were still 'out of product' yet chose to delivere an inferior one with hopes of getting away with it. you'd think they would have learned after the first time..but obviously this is their policy. As I've said before, more recipicients probably don't discuss the basket contents in detail with the sender.

Bloomex guarantees their products 100%. If you were unsatisfied, you contact the company to advise them, and we issue a resend of the product FREE OF CHARGE. If you want satisfaction, contact the company to advise of our discontent. It is very difficult for a company to know you are dissatisfied when you do not advise them of such. Bloomex placed a huge volume of orders over the Christmas season, and it is very likely you got the wrong order. Orders are placed by humans, fulfilled by humans and delivered by humans. We are always willing to resolve customer issues, but only when we are made aware of them. As for Faye's comment above, we have resolved your concerns, by not only resending the basket you ordered with our apologies, but also issuing a full credit as a token of our appreciation for your patronage.

I had a very similar experience..except I was the sender. I paid 148.00 for a 'premium' food basket. WE found out from the recipients that they had received something very similar to what you received in yours...nothing close to the 'gourmet cheeses and crackers' that the basket was supposed to contain.
It seems this company is running quite an elaborate scam. AS you can attest to, most recipients of such gifts will not tell the sender that their gift was sub-standard, therefore, Bloomex gets away with charging huge prices and promising baskets with ingredients that never arrive.
One can only imagine all the customers they are scamming over the x-ms season with this.
