I just purchased the smart lidz item and was shocked to notice a $30+ postage - infact the postage was high than the item. To make the whole story dubious - I got 2 orders when I wanted ONLY one oredre. For 2hours, I have tried EVERY possibility to reach the site and inform them of this anomaly but there is no respondind site for customer. I feel dissapointed and angry. Why spend money to lure customers to your site when you do not intend to play fair?

I noticed today 05/16/08 that I was billed for $20.00 05/01/08 and then $33.85 today.I did not receive my order yet,but I did purchase it from tv.I only ordered the lidz,and I don't know what the other charges are for.I tried to find the number for the commercial,but I guess I will have to wait and see it on tv again,or wait for my order to arrive.It is costing a lot more than what I was told.I will pass this info onto people I know so they do not make the same mistake.

My comment is the same as everyone else. This company should be put out of business. They are very dishonest and they may prosper for a while but what goes around comes around. I should have known how the company would be when I found out on the internet that chef tony is not even a chef. He appears from time to time on a very reputable shopping network. I intend to notify them of his business practices and I wish that everyone else would also do this. Thanks.

like the rest of you I didn't expect the shipping charges to be for each lid !!! I complained to my bank when pending charges for the items appeared twice, the next day one charge had been removed, the bank said if they posted the one charge left showing they would start fraud charges. Today there are no charges showing pending or posted? Does that mean they cancelled my order? or did they catch on that I had my bank onto this? I'll get the lids someday in a store with items seen on tv without shipping charges.

Just filed a complaint with VISA for the rip-off S&H this company, (Fresh Finds) Smart Lidz uses. At $41.00 S&H for $32.50 mdse, after posting their shipping prices on the Website. This is a real scam operation that the Federal Gov't needs to investigate since it is operating in Interstate traffic.
Too bad we all didn't check out this site before buying into their TV ad. What a scam!
