I read this and I wanted to reach out to you regarding the service on your ice maker. Pertaining to the labor cost, they are not hourly charges. The manufacturer sets repairs by job code. They specify what the job entails and set the price accordingly. We, as the authorized servicer, have to abide by the job codes they set. I apologize that it is more than you expected it to be, and we may be able to help in some way.
