I'm writing this review in hope of saving someone else from the frustrating
experience I've had with www.TheOEMPartsStore.com.

On August 4th I had ordered a part for the Landing Gear on my 5th Wheel Camper. I was told at the time of placing the order that it would take an additional 5 days in excess of the normal 4 to 5 days as the part had to come from the manufacturer. I quickly agreed to this and made my $60.35 purchase.

After 17 days I began calling TheOEMPartsStore to get status on my parts. I was first told that I was lying about the timeline and that the notes indicated I was quoted 14 days for delivery. Aside from the fact that 17 days had passed and the part was overdue, this was a lie and the point at which I started to worry about what I had gotten myself into. I was told the delay was in the shipping from the manufacturer.

From here things only got worse. Most of the times I would call no live person would answer the phone. I'd be forced to leave a voicemail and await a callback. On many occasions after finally reaching someone, I was promised a callback either later in the day or the next day. Most of these never came and involved yet another follow up call on my part.

During the week of 8/18 I finally had yet another hard commitment from TheOEMPartsStore. They assured me the part would ship on 8/25, and that since the manufacturer was shipping directly to me I would still receive it that same week. By 8/27 I had received no communication from TheOEMPartsStore indicating the part had shipped so I called. Of course I was told yet again my part hadn't shipped and they had dropped the ball on following this up with me. I requested a refund at this
point and the store employee asked that I give him the opportunity to try one last time to expedite my order and see if he could get it to me the same week. I reluctantly agreed that I'd keep the order if they knew they could get me the part the same week. I awaited my callback all day on 8/17 which never came.

At approx 5PM on 8/17 I placed yet another call to TheOEMPartsStore. I was told the the part would ship that day. Unfortunately it was never intended to ship directly to me as promised by TheOEMPartsStore employee and would not arrive the same week. The part had to go to TheOEMPartStore and then to me.

At this point I requested a full refund. I was told that I couldn't have a refund. When I threatened to expose the truth about TheOEMPartsStore with online reviews I was told I'd be sued for slander.

So far 23 days waiting....still no part in site. I would NOT recommend anyone EVER do business with TheOEMPartsStore. This business obviously has very little process in place with respect to order processing and follow up and is by far the most unethical company I've ever dealt with. I still have no faith that I'll ever receive my part.

As you will notice. The same character "LetDowninPa" also wrote he ordered a pump from us for his pressure washer also. I don't think he realized it would record his username when he wrote it, and was trying to add multiple false complaints against us. We have not sold a pressure washer pump in over 8 months to anyone. Many times, customers realize it is smarter to purchase an entire new unit, rather than just the pump, unless it is a commercial unit. When Gary actually ordered from us on the 3rd of August, 2008 and not on the 4th. The pricing he gave is also incorrect. When he ordered this atwood gear kit originally, he ordered the wrong item, because he didn't know what he needed. That is one reason for the delay. After speaking with him ON THE PHONE, I advised he had chosen the wrong part for his equipment and advised I would make the changes for him, process his card and get this order out to him. After checking on the new part we needed to substitue for him ... we noticed it was not in stock and had to special order it for him. This new part needed was actually going to cost him more, but I told him I would go ahead and give it to him for the same cost as the part he had ordered which was the wrong part. I also advised I would just ship it from the manufacture to him to save time. No Problem ... So I advised him it would take a little longer to get for him since it was not in stock. He agreed and we went on.

After a few days, I called the manufacture to check the status of this order. They advised us, it was still not ready due to the fact they wanted to ship it out with the other orders we had with them at the time. We told them this part was needed asap and we would pay the extra cost to get it faster to our customer. They told us they would not drop ship such a small order and we would have to wait. I then advised Gary (our customer) of the situation.

At that time, he immediately thought we were trying to work him over and thought we were delaying on purpose. We as a company, have never tried to delay any order. We appreciate our cusomers and make every attempt to make all happy. Gary then decided he was going to call and threaten us day after day for a few days straight. We actually had caller ID installed in our phone system, so we could be aware of when Gary was calling, so that we didn't have to hear his harassing calls. At the same time, we were making every attempt to get his parts to him, even though we did not have to provide service to him after the threats.

We do appreciate each and every one of our customers and will make every attempt to make them happy. Things do happen when you are in business, that is out of our control. Let me guess ... A karcher pump? You guys are funny ... You would have not gotten it faster anywhere else. That company is in Germany. I don't know much about engine parts or pressure washers, but I do know that much. Of course your going to wait. Buy American and you don't have to worry about it.

Hey I ordered parts form there and I had no problem at all. They can't control all screw ups that happen. They have alot of people to go thru and try to make everyone happy. But, We all know we can't make everyone happy and can't control if an item is on back order. I know this from my own company give them a break they also can't control UPS either

I had ordered a pump for my pressure washer from these clowns. They promised quick turnaround but it took almost 2 months to get the part !!!
