Rude employees & bad attitude - order taking and service

Today (6/16/2008 about 1 PM) I took my two grandchildren to the McDonald's located inside the Walmart SuperCenter at 1619 Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral, FL.

After standing at the counter for a while not being helped while two of your employees just stood there facing the other way, I finally made my presence known. The one girl/lady asked if I was waiting on an order and I told her my order had not been taken yet. They both looked at each other without moving at first like, "Are you going to help her or or am I?". Reluctantly one of them decided to take my order. It was obvious she was not paying attention to anything I said. I had to repeat my order twice. I am not even sure she spoke English. I had to stand and wait while someone else put my order together very slowly I might add and then double check to see that everything was there. I had ordered a sweet iced tea and I was very surprised to find it was a very small child's cup. But I didn't say anything because I had ordered a "Happy Meal". It was unsweetened tea, there was no ice and it was warm. I took the drink back to the counter and told the lady that I had ordered sweet tea, it was warm and there was no ice. She just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. I told her again I had ordered sweet tea and she looked at the machine, shrugged her shoulders again and walked away. I sat the unsweetened, warm iced tea cup further back on the counter and walked away. She grabbed it and threw it out. My two grandchildren were sitting at the table still eating and I wanted to get back to them. I walked out of that McDonald's without any kind of drink at all and so angry I could scream.

She did not offer to bring me a new correct glass of tea when they finished making a new batch or even offered to give me something else. I also had another to go order but I drove to another McDonald's to get that order.

I have had lots of rude employees, incorrect orders, etc. at different McDonald's in Fort Myers and I have never complained but this time I am.

If you are going to hire these people, train them correctly. Make it mandatory that they speak English and teach them some manners.

I will still go to McDonald's from time to time but I will never go to the one inside the Cape Coral Walmart Supercenter again.

today i went to take my luch i was in line for 20 min wend i got to the window the manager named mirian she toll me to park and i wait 10 more min i toll the manager and she toll me that i came in a busy time so please i think that lady dont know how take care the customers
