You should dispute the charge with your CC, if it isn't too late. ANY time you use a credit or debit card for ANY type of purchase and do not receive all of your goods, or quality service, you have the right to dispute the charge.

Also, has anyone ever thought to tell them when you call, before you say anything else, that you are recording the conversation, whether you are or not? If you do, you HAVE to tell them legally, but just saying it may be enough to scare them into treating you like they should.
