Tomato Complaint
Rotten tomatos or not

As we approach another week of a vague tomato recall i have to ask what is going on here.
Is the FDA doings its job and if not, why not?
We are supposed to be a first world country with a system the envy of the world and again we have poison produce in our stores with now idea where it came from.
How can this be. If the FDA is broken then fix it. or is this another issue that leads back to Bush and underfunding another needed government agency.
This years tomato crop is now ruined as most of the crop has been discarded because of a small bad bunch that the FDA cant trace. So now on top of floods in the mid west, a ruined corn crop and rising global prices of food we can add ruined tomato's and broken tomato farmers.
We should have in this country the expectation that the food we eat is safe, clean and accountable.
Thanks Bush and company that did not address this problem when we had the spinach and then lettuce recalls.
