Room Damage - Hotel Room

My husband and I recently stayed at Ballys in Las Vegas from May 22nd thru May 25th. The room we stayed was old (furniture appeard to be the original), the dresser drawers did not open, the safe was broken, the bed was hard and there was some minor damage to the sheetrock. I did not notice the sheetrock but my husband did. We did not care as we just needed a place to sleep and like most people spent most of our time out of the room. 10 days after our return we were charged $200 on my credit card for room damage. I have asked for an explanation of what exactly the damage was?? It has been 2 weeks since I phoned to inquire and have been told today that the charge will remain on my account by Harrah's(Caesar's) Finance Department. The damage was reported by housekeeping, however they cannot give me any detail. I was advised to contact Bally's front desk. I have already done that two weeks ago. I called again today and asked for a manager - got voice mail of course. Left a message but have not received a return call. I will be writing reviews on all web pages I can find. We visit Las Vegas 3 times a year and will be moving our business over to the MGM chain. We will not be gambling any Harrah's casinos, will not eat at any of their restaurants. We also visit Reno and will not set foot in a Harrah's owned property. We did not cause any damage to the room. My advice to any one staying at any hotel is to complain if the room has any flaws and request to be moved. Due to this we will now be HIGH MAINTENANCE GUESTS - at any hotel we stay at. I will request to be moved if the room is in any way inadequate.
