I just finished my one year re-model project. Althought hesitant to the idea, i asked my own uncle (Rick Bacon) for help with my plumbing. He started out great, he walked around the house telling me where the problems were, then he started working on the air conditioner and swamp cooler, weed whacking the back yard, hooking up one hose bib, and warning all my neighbors about an abandoned house next door to me because of its potential for squatters. MONTHS later, still not having any gas or running water and 2 bills already for a total of around 5,000.00 he said he couldnt finish because he was going to burning man for 3 weeks. I hired a new plumbing co. who finished the whole job in 2 days. Just today i got a final bill from him for another 5,000.00 worded in terms i don't understand. Some of this problem is me naive to the remodeling business, if he'll screw his own niece over, he'll do it to you too. Don't hire Rick Bacon Plumbing of Neveda City, CA.
