Recently purchased a used car from Off Lease Only in Lake Worth,Fl,they now do business with Overstock.com and advertise their cars on their site,anyway my car was totalled xmas eve. by a drunk driver and liked their pricing and spotted a 2005 Mercury Montego Premier they had,took it out for a couple hours but noticed alot of road noise coming from the car,did some quick google research before returning the car to give a go ahead for purchase and realized the wheels were switched from 18"'s to 17"s,the Premier comes standard with 18" Perrillis and 15 spoke wheels to cool the disc brakes..their lot had both models and I was correct,they were the wrong wheels. Still wanted the car and told the Sales rep.Louis about it. He replied "dont worry,pick it up tonite and Ill take care of everything". I picked it up in the dark and took his word and he assured me everything was perfect. Bullshit! All they did was wash it,didnt even touch up areas of the paint I asked about..Downloaded an inch of material and went back,Im upset because I want the car to be safe,saw John,an old man who is Mgr.and very sarcastic,sat at his desk and he states"Im prepared for you,see this (hands me a paper) it says the car is correct" I hand him a 1 inch file showing it isnt and its all from the manufacture,he gets up from his chair and says "Im not changing the wheels,your making my blood pressure go up' and he heads for the Employee Kitchen as he embarasses me in front of my wife and 9 year old daughter. I couldnt believe it,sweet until they get your money,customer service doesnt exist there,all I wanted was assurance that the car was safe,PERIOD. Didnt ask for the wheels to be changed,he never looked at them,so he knew I was right that they were switched!! Bottom Line,take it to a dealer or do your homework before handing them your hard earned cash,I just got out from the hospital,I didnt need to be treated like dirt.There prices are good but examine their cars closely before you lay out the cash and stay away from Louis,there salesman. He doesnt keep his word.

Well here comes anothr bad review, I just went there over the weekend, I had a pretty decent salesman but I agree that management is pretty damn arrogant.

Only one comment. In order to sell cheap this Dealer...Offlease Only purchase their inventory at the Auction usually for vehicles that have been in accidents. By law they supposed to disclose this, but if the customer did not ask they done. Too good to be true....

This guy is an idiot. He took the car sign the papers and paid the money knowing there was something wrong and then comes and complains. I have a friend and a neighbor who have purchased vehicles with Offlease and are perfectly happy with their purchase.

Thanks for the review! I was wondering about them and their great prices. I am looking for a specific model car that they have 12 in stock that meet what I want. After comparing their free CARFAX reports to the AutoCheck VN reports(paid subscriber) only 3 passed the SCORE I like, 1 had a Score below my standards, and 8 were disqualified by Autocheck for Buyback protection.

This review saved me the time and hassle of going to this dealer!

They are a total rip-off! I had a horrible experience there as well! Complete joke! I do NOT recommend this company!! Make sure you check out my review/experience as well before buying from them...

If you knew that there was an issue with the vehicle just from the test drive and you bought it anyway, you're an idiot. Even worse, you spent thousands of dollars without even inspecting the car because it was dark and you just took the guys word?!! Am I missing something? It's sad that other people commenting on this review now won't purchase from this dealership, because you're experience had nothing to do with bad business ethics. It was dark out!?! I mean come on!

Wow I cant believe they did that. Did you file a complaint with the BBB. I was actually goin to buy a car from them now I am totally confused.

I was seriously thinking about buying a car from Offlease Only until I read these comments. Although the price looked quite good at Offlease Only, I've decided to pass. It's not worth taking a chance, especially when thereare so many other dealers available. Thanks for the 'heads-up' review.

I was searching for a review because I was debating flying down from AL to shop at Offlease Only. Interesting about the sarcasm comment because I called for some basic info as to what they offered and company info, and I got so pissed at the sarcasm on the phone I just emailed them and asked to speak to someone other than Jack. I got a one sentence reply with the sales number.

It is very curious about how much lower their prices are. You have the only negative review I can find. In fact, you have the only review either way. However, it was enough for me to spend 2.5k more and shop local.
