Re: Howard Johnson motel
03/09-11
Our two day stay (no longer thank goodness) was at positivily the WORST place we have ever stayed at! With the possible exception of a camping trip in a mosquito ridden, in a leaking tent. Eighty nine bucks a night...for a room that looked downright frightening and dirty. Oh...we were lucky though, we had free cable and HBO...unfortunately the only channels that worked were CBS, NBC and ABC. If what you want didn't appear on those channels...forget it. Then there was the delightful free wireless internet...oops, too bad about that one, it doesn't work!!! Everyone that had a computer had to go and buy a wireless adaptor and go out to the pool, no cell phones or computers would work in the rooms! Couldn't even access a local line for AOL on the telephone line. Then...out at the pool, it was freezing and the water even colder, making it a terrible experience. Unless you speak HIndu, you were totally out of luck... "no speak good enlish", well yeah...we noticed. And you are running a motel which is nothing more that a public service in....,...were is now...oh yeah, Pinelles Park, FLORIDA...which, by the way is in frigging AMERICA!!!!!!
Total total total ripoff. 89 bucks a night, plus tax and money for everything else in the world that politicians want to pocket for for nothing but an uncomfortable bed with scratchy sheets, and blankets from a rumble sale! Stay away from it
