I am getting the shaft from this company, they have been giving me excuses and delays, and when they finally called on their decision it was a unfair settlement.

--Description of accident –
Vehicle # 1 was coming from the east, out of a side access, behind Streets of N. Y. restaurant.

Vehicle #2 was headed south toward Bell Rd. on center dividing road of parking lot.

#1 drove right out in front of #2, without slowing. Hitting the left frt of #2 with the r/h side of her truck. The impact caused #1 to veer left into the main side of parking area, where it stopped. #2 was pushed to the right about 20 ft.

April 6, 2009 9:17 AM Amy called and informed me they had made a decision on the accident. They will only pay

90%, based on my statement of doing about 25 miles an hour in a parking lot. 9:25 AM called back and said she was
calling the body shop, Automotive Collision Technicians, to let them know what was decided on. I called and asked

what they were doing about a vehicle for me to use, Amy said that she would arrange something for me. At the same time I was told that USAA would only pay a partial amount on the vehicle I had to rent on the March 21,2009. She said that USAA would have to check to see what they would pay. Later on the 6th, Amy called at 4:32 PM and told me that I could get a rental van at Enterprise, at Grand Ave. & Bell Road. I went and turned in the vehicle I had used, after leaving work on the 6th, and had my grandson pick me up and take me to Enterprise, so I could get the rental van that USAA had arraigned for me. I was told that they would cover the total cost of the rental until my van was done at the body shop. On April 7, I called to ask about charges on a rental vehicle, had to leave a voice message for Amy, that I had to use to get to work, since my van was going to the body shop. Amy called me back at about 3:45 PM, at that time she informed me that USAA would only cover the rental van from Enterprise from April 6th on, and that I would not be compensated for the earlier vehicle I had gotten. I was very pissed and told her that was screwing the shit out of me, and that because they had taken so long to make a decision that I was flushing over $600. dollar down the toilet. She said that my language was offensive and hung up on me. I called back at 4:10 PM and ask to speak to her supervisor, Patti, which I was transferred to her phone extension and had to leave a message.

This is where I am at presently and need to find any governing board and consumer group that might help.
Respectfully,
Jim G.
