RIP-OFF - ACAI PURE AND COLO PURE

CCN alleges that a product was delivered to my home in January of 2009 - Its late October and I'm just finding out about this.

A lady named Tawnee Lee sent an e-mail that stated the following:

I have attempted to contact you through the email address and phone number that is on file, I have been unsuccessful. If this debt is not paid today by 3pm mountain time, your account will be sold to a 3rd party collections agency and it will damage your report.
Tawnee Lee
CCN Collections Department
2375 East Camelback Road, 5th Floor
Phoenix, AZ 85016

Hmm, odd that she 'attempted to contact me' through e-mail but sent an e-mail. Whatever. So I call her 1 minute after receiving the e-mail. No answer. Call 7 additional times. No answer. Finally send an e-mail asking who she was and what the product was. Set my phone on auto redial and after 10 more tries, she answers the phone. States that I received a product in January. Hmm, didn't know I did. I asked for the tracking number and she said 'you paid to have it expedited through USPS but they archive their records after 6 months so they may not be able to find it.' So I call the post office in Florida (shipping address) and in Houston (local address). No one can find the tracking number. I paid the balance because $50 is not worth dealing with these crooks but their business practices are unethical. Tawnee also stated that someone named Arturo tried calling/e-mailing me and I laughed then said 'hmm, well if he tried how did your e-mail come through?' She was a paid robot so I received an authorization number for my payment and let her know I would be reporting the company. Unethical behavior deserves to be punished. No one has any records of this product but I've had drama with closed accounts before so I'd rather pay it and move on...after warning everyone. BEWARE!

I was SCAMMED also by ACAI Pure. I ordered what I thought was a 30-day free trial for $.99 and received the bottle a few days later. One month later, I receive a notice that I'm being charged $59.95 on my credit card for the product and I'm to send any inquiries to the supplied email. I replied back and the email claimed the email could not be processed. Unlike other "bounce back" emails, this one said to call customer service. I called, spoke with someone who confirmed my address and tried to have the charges reversed. She informed me, rather rudely at first, that the information was clear on the website. The best she could do for me was offer to give me a $25 credit on my card. I hope, after reading story after story of their history of lies, that she does give me the credit she promised. I then hung up and started searching the only page of the website that I normally check in matters like this. Nowhere on the main page is their a directive to read and understand the Terms and Conditions before placing the order. If everyone read those first, they'd see the SCAM for what it is and the 30-day supply was only good for a 10-day trial. This is one operation that belongs behind bars, literally!
