I thought the idea of the Smart Lidz product was great, so I purchased the buy on get one free set. Little did I know that once on the phone, the company attempts to con you into buying SEVERAL other products before confirming your order - so you're forced to stay on the line. At the end of their schpeel, all you get is a thank you, and the information that your item will be shipped in 6-8 weeks; nothing else - no total - nothing. NOWHERE - and I mean NOWHERE is it stated how much you'll have to pay in shipping. (And that total is 30 DOLLARS by the way!!!). I thought everything was fine until I saw a $50 transaction on my bank statement. On top of all this - I tried the lids once I received them, and THEY DON'T EVEN WORK!!! They only hold the vacuum for about one minute! I am utterly shocked at the amount of deception behind such a high profile product. DO NOT BUY SMART LIDZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
