Pro Wireles s located at Triangle Town Ctr, Cary Town Ctr, and NC State Fairground refuses to exchange a $16 earplug for a wireless phone. I stopped in and asked for an exchange because it stopped working. I can't hear anything through it although my callers say they can hear me. I was told they wouldn't make an exchange without a receipt. I spoke with the manager, Nicole, on the phone and explained that I believe the merchandise was purchased approximately 1-2 months ago so I do not have a receipt. I had no reason to believe the merchandise would quit working. She absolutely refused to do anything stating that I may have bought it at the Cingular store since they sell the same thing. The Cingular store is about 20 steps from Pro Wireless. If I bought it there, wouldn't I just take the few extra steps to return it there??? Duh!!! She went on to say that unless I could show a credit card statement, receipt or a "BAG" she would not do anything. I asked if the store was locally owned and if there was an regional manager, she stated "I am the manager. Is there anything else you want to know?" Makes you wanna run right in there and spend your money, right???
I went home and printed a copy of the bank statement which shows the transaction was actually made on 3/15. I returned to the store with the statement. The employee called Nicole again and this time she decided there was a 3 month warranty on the merchandise, so still would not make an exchange!

These people would rather lose me as a customer and everybody that I intend to tell about my experience for $16! Amazing!!!!
