I went to Priceline.com in Sept. 09. I needed a room in the Dupont Circle of Wash, DC for a family reunion. I specified where it had blocks and I checked "Dupont Circle" However, what I got was NOT that area, but over a mile away. They (Priceline) had taken my $422. I immediately called many times and emailed but to no avail, until the next day. I threatened to see my lawyer and Priceline knew they were in the wrong. They refunded PART of my money but kept $105.28 of my money. I was not in the wrong - they were. And they wouldn't even work with me to let me use the money on another room. They wanted me to go ahead and pay for another room. I wasn't about to get ripped again. Don't use them. They are crooked and have no professionals working in their customer service dept. Just non-English speaking robots who read from a manual. Do not get taken like I did. Believe me.
