The recent announcement of a rate increase by Comcast for their cable services has broken the bank for me. I am retired and will no longer be able to afford the service as I'm currently using it. I have TV, High Def option and internet. After reviewing the selection of new channels that come with the rate increase, I find none of them of interest. I want a cafeteria plan for channels. I only watch 6-8 out of the entire line up and never watch movies.

My income has been going down so need some rate relief.

comcast cable sucks they are crooks....they advertise in my hometown channels 2-99 and charge 56.00 thats for basic cable without the box. i only get about 45 channels the rest are blocked out. its false advertisement also i have asked several people in my area how much they pay for basic cable and not one single person pays the same amount! also people have told me that they received discounts due to having low income i feel all pf us should then be asked what our income level is im low income i take care of 4 people on one low income! also people have told me they have had overdue bills and after 6 months some guy will come to your door and reconnect for half the bill and sometimes less.
