Prepaid Scam - Cell phone

Purchased 2 T-Mobile SIM cards 12/31/07 for spare phones. Tried to use today. They've given both our phone numbers to someone else, and cancelled our remaining minutes. The rep (Ann #12272555) said this automatically happens after THREE MONTHS. This is not stated in our receipts or agreement, nor does this seem fair or reasonable.

Basically, T-Mobile stole our numbers and pre-paid minutes. After an hour on the phone today, there is no recourse, as "this is our policy."

They also refuse to provide consumers with any accounting of when minutes have been removed from accounts. We are just supposed to trust them.
