My wife microwaved a bag of Orville Redenbacher's Light Movie Theater Butter popcorn. Prior to 2 minutes the bag erupted in smoke which filled th ehouse - no fire.

However, the popcorn was burned into a brick 1 inch thick.

I "popped" 2 more bags the next day after the clean up and they popped perfectly. I wonder if ConAgra uses different bag sources such a companies in China or...

The codes on the bag that burned and popped okay is 3216-74 PRS2MD
