Poor Customer Service - package delivery

Why is it that no at UPS if you have a package to be delivered and you work 9-5 monday through friday that they make you go out of your way to try to get your package???? Fed Ex is a lot more helpful. I was told that someone would call me about picking my package up.. .UPS told me this... no one ever called.... I work, I paid for shipping, shouldn't they be a bit more helpful. They won't even let me pick up the package at one of their store.... its THEIR store???? I still don't have my package, it will probably get sent back or I will have to lose money and take a day off so i can got it when they are open. I will never use UPS again, and if a company doesnt offer another shipping service, i will buy from someone else!!!

Ups is awsome and there employees are union and are paid for their work...Fedex likes to rip off there employees and tries to short them hours and a fair days pay

after filling out forms for eons because my package was international {canada} on 09/09/08, the pacage never arrived. brown cannot find that I even sent it out of their hub. either that is a lie, or they are incompetent. I cannot file a claim because I have misplaced my tracking number, and they will not locate same in their computer system. Talk about the dark [brown] ages. They it all of that

Yes UPS Still sucks. I had a package overnighted several days ago. In fact yesterday it was just two hours from my home. But it is just sitting in some container and has been shipped even further from my home where it has continued to sit for over 12hrs now. This package contained cultures that cost $500 and can only exist outside the fridge for 24-48 hrs. Letting customer service know this for the last two days and they just tell me there is no more info on their computer screen and to get lost. Well I hope UPS collapses and no one ever uses this company again. If you have something to ship that needs to get their overnight good luck, the rep eventually told me one in ten packages don't make it on time. If I had realized how much I was gambling by using UPS I would have given it a second thought.

I agree about UPS. I waited and waited for a package to come only to find out it was sent back to the company for a messed up label, which was done in UPS somewhere. So I stop looking for the UPS man to come and low & behold the day no one is home, the package magically arrives. Now it is back at UPS because no one was home to get a package that I was told was sent back to the shipper. Now I have to wait again. I call UPS to tell them I will go to the UPS warehouse the next morning to pick it up and they told me I couldn't pick my package up on Saturday because it was undeliverable on Friday so I would have to wait for it to be delivered on Monday. How crazy is that ??? FED-EX is so much easier to deal with.
