I think you misunderstand the review posted, it sounds like the person went to them for editing, not to write something. Having dealt with Minimax myself, I can tell you that there is no way in h*&l that they could produce a dissertation, or anything even close. They operate at a substandard undergraduate level of statistics and analysis. It's quite sad really.

I used their services and in no-way "bought" a dissertation. I slaved to finish my dissertation and came to Minimax for help with a specific statistical technique that I was struggling with. Putting aside the fact that they were unable to complete the task, but took my money and refused to refund (!!!) it remains that Minimax does not help (even if they could) with any analytical insight. They have no knowledge of any substantive topic matter, and they surely played no part in the conceptualization of the thesis. In other words, they had nothing to do with all the parts that matter in a dissertation.

They are basically similar to the research assistants that I now hire to clean my datasets, except my graduate assistants are conscientous, pay great attention to detail, and sincerely care about doing a good job.

Minimax's work was sloppy, tardy, and simply rife with errors. And I paid Minimax much more than I pay my grad assistants. It is really a crime what Minimax does, taking advantage of dissertation students who are just desperate for statistical assistance, taking their money and then shafting them.
If there is such a thing as karma, it will surely not be a nice life for Minimax people next time around.

Anyway, cmcarroll, I'm just saying that even if this person had wanted a plaguerized dissertation, Minimax is utterly incapable of such a thing, they can't even do the basic statistics that they claim to.

You deserve it for buying a dissertation. People with real Ph.D.s and Master's sweat blood and tears to complete a dissertation and you think you have a complaint because you can't give your plagairized dissertation to your committee??? Give me a break.
