Ped Egg Woes

When I first used the ped egg , I was amazed. It really worked. But after a day or two, i can hardly walk. my heals are red, raw, and cracked worse than they ever were. I am in alot of pain and not happy with this product at all. I have several friends who perchased it too, and they have the same problem. I will not reccommend this product to anyone!!!

I agree...lol...I teach pilates, yoga, spin, dance and play beach volleyball..love to wear high heels! I used the ped egg only twice this week and now its hard to walk on my right foot, which is a lil red and very tender...gonna throw it away and get a foot file...I told my pilates class and one of them, a manicurist, told me the pedegg does more damage than good...it causes the skin to grow back harder and more callous-like..also, that some callouses are necessary for protecting our feet as well as balance, so we should NOT be striving for baby soft feet..esp if we're active and like high heels...makes sense to me..I'd rather dance and be able to hold poses instead of having perfectly soft feet...

i aggree a day after usind it i was barely able to do ANYTHNG!!!!!!!!!
DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

samehere very bad feet now I know what you mean by dry and crackeda nd Inever had that before and I wore flip flops now I ahve to wear lotion in my socks and tenis shoes to try to make them feel like feeet again

i used the ped egg and now the next day both feet were extremely sore, painful, & red. i am very disappointed & feel that the product needs to be improved somehow or taken off the MaRkEt.

What most people don't realize is that the majority of dry, callused areas on the feet are there for an important reason. Calluses are your skins way of protecting itself from damage and pain caused by friction. Most everyone has spots on their feet that are being rubbed with every step they take, thus causing a callus in that spot. Removing this can be dangerous, causing damage and great pain. Also, removing too much will cause your skin to over-produce more callus to compensate for the loss. Therefore, it is best to use callus removal devices as little as possible. Press lightly and take off only the dryest, dead layer of the callus and be sure to moisterize with a good foot lotion afterward. If you are unsure of yourself you can always visit your local manicureist for a pedicure or visit a MD for professional results.
