Patio table failed - Catalina table

I purchased an expensive patio table, chairs, cushions and umbrella. The table was defective and failed. I called the Crate and Barrel store that sold me the table in Paramus, NJ and got no satisfaction, just inane remarks that I did not take the patio table into the house when it rained or when it got cold.

After calling the Crate and Barrel store in Paramus repeatedly I finally got an incompetent and plainly unresponsive person that could or would do anything to stand behind the product.

I am appealing with their corporate office and the store manager. After being a loyal customer over many years, I will stop doing business with this organization.

I will report on this problem as I communicate with Crate and Barrel or proceed to take them to small claims court.

after looking for some one to help me with crate and barrel run around I found your coment, I bought a sofa that has been discolored since the day I received it. The only help I have received were coments on the nature of fabric discoloring???
I will not ever perchase from this company again :0(

The Paramus NJ store has a very rude staff that does nothing to help the customer find goods. Both the asst. manager and manager took offence to my customer complaint and also did little to assist. It's clear that even in a recession this unprofessional establishment hires people that would rather take a paycheck and do nothing than make a sale. Do yourself a BIG favor and shop elsewhere.

I am having a issue with them over a $7k table and after escalating to the corporate customer service, am now escalating it further to the CEO. I will NEVER shop with them again. I feel your pain...

Update. I received an offer of $100 store credit from the Paramus store. I accepted in disgust.

I will give the certificate to my children and never set foot in the this store again.
