PHARMACISTS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE - PHARMACIST

I AM A PHYSICIAN AND CALLED THE CVS STORE # 5924 TO SPEAK WITH THE PHARMACISTS TO REFILL A PRESCRIPTION FOR A PATIENT. THE PHARMACISTS "MIKE" ANSWERED AND I GAVE THE NUMBER OF THE RX AND THE NAME OF THE MEDICATION AND DOSAGE AND ASKED FOR IT TO BE REFILLED AND GAVE MY NAME. THE PHARMACISTS STATED THERE WERE REFILLS. I WAS TOLD BY THE PATIENT SHE WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE CVS PHARMACY STORE THERE WERE NO REFILLS AND THEY GAVE HER ONLY THREE TABLETS AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO CALL HER DOCTOR. THEREFORE, THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE CALL. I PROCEEDED TO GET A CONFERENCE CALL WITH THE PHARMACIST AND THE PATIENT, AND THE PHARMACIST BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE (B/C HE RECORDED THE WRONG MEDICATION AND WAS UNWILLING TO ADMIT HIS MISTAKE) AND THE PHARMACIST BECAME VERY RUDE AND SPOKE OVER BOTH THE PATIENT AND MYSELF. I THEN ENDED THE CALL, AND SPOKE WITH THE PHARMACISTS AGAIN MYSELF, AND AGAIN HE BECAME RUDE AND NEVER STOPPED TO LISTEN AND CONTINUED TO TALK OVER THE PERSON MYSELF ON THE PHONE SO I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO CONVERSE. THE PHARMACISTS CONTINUED TO STATE HE IS A PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE NEVER BEEN COMUNICAED IN SUCH A MATTER, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT DEALS WITH THE MEDICAL CARE OF A PATIENT. PHARMACISTS ARE TO BE HELD FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND BEHAVIOR. THEY ARE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY AND THE PHYSICIANS! I WISH FOR THIS PHARMACIST TO BE REMOVED FROM HIS POSITION ! HE IS MORE HARMFULL TO THE COMMUNITY AND NEEDS TO BE REPORTED!
