Overcharged - Hotel Reservation

I booked a hotel through orbitz . then, the hotel mistakenly billed me for the stay. The orbitz bill was about 20% higher than what the hotel really charged.
When I inquired about the low price guarantee, I got the run around.
Be aware, orbitz may not have the best deal.

The same happened to me with Travellocity. They all seem to cash in about 20%+ for not really doing anything. Book the hotel directly and keep the money.

If you have your receipt from hotel submit it to the creditcard co./card you used. They will get your refund.I lost my online reservation which I was told by Days Inn rep that this was receipt; he would NOT give a copy of Orbitz charge which was about $30.00 cheaper!!!! if they are doing this to all on line reservations I think it is a scam/fraud issue. I have to find my online paper now...so guess i am s.o.l. as NJ fraud report would demand that!!!! already tried. Lulu and good luck.....
