Online cancellations - Hampton Bay products

Placed an order online, only to have it canceled by Home Depot .com a week later,
no explanation, just an apology. Placed another order later, that item after a week of waiting became an "unexpected" backorder. Had to cancel 3 weeks later as status never changed. Placed another order recently, only to have it canceled by Home Depot.com after a week, again with no explanation. Will not be placing any more order online with Home Depot.com. Waste of time.

Obviously they must have cancelled it because it must have been discontinued. At least they notified you. Things do go on backorder and you did say they notified you. Obviously you shouldn't shop online because things like this do happen when it comes to online shopping. It's noy like it's Victoria's secret that they know what's in inventory cause it's all their product. Stores like Home Depot check with each and everyone of their manufacturers and warehouses to see if they have it available. The reason I know all this is because I work for an online furniture company and I hate when I see people complain about things that companys have no control over. Put it this way you wanted that product so that means that someone else may want it too and got to it before you and now they don't have a shipment coming in for 6 weeks after the last one was taken. Like I said if you're going to shop online call and see if it's in stock first and if that's too much for you to do don't shop online anymore.
