I have tried to get my pool open this summer and in the past 4-5 weeks have spent close to $400 on chemicals at Leslie's. As of today, June 3, my pool is in worse shape than it was when I started. They keep selling me product and nothing works. I finally complained via their website and phone and heard from a District manager yesterday. Her attmept to make things right was to offer me a pound of shock and a 20% discount on all chemicals if I came into the store within the next 7 days. Today I get a flyer in the mail advertising a 20% discount on ALL chemicals. So I was not getting ANY consideration for my problems except a pound of shock. Leslie's does NOT guarantee your satisfaction.

Sounds like it's time to drain the pool and start over. We have found this to be necessary every 3 or 4 years. Just get a fresh start. Be sure to do this when the weather is cool, or your plaster will crack!

I bought a new filter at Leslies in June and had it installed. The Service "SUCKS" The service guy spent more time in his truck on his cell phone then installing my filter.Once installed and he drove away I figured I better check it out. Needless to say the filter worked but now my heater was not going on. It was a battle trying to get them to send someone right out again, and I might add they never did. Now I am having leaks in the pipes they installed and now the stame probem. Water leaking all over and the service just called and said they can not make it because he got sick. I am abit frustrated with Leslies service and will not shop there any more.

Leslies is terrible. I agree with everything you said. Call your local office of consumer affairs and file a complaint.

I find it amusing when people buy a pack of shock and then also a truckload of toys, basketball and volleyball games. All the sudden the "spent 400 dollars on chemicals"
