Okay so I have to be honest. When I first got the thing I wasn't impressed. It was nice to make calls but so many were choppy and unclear. I have now had it about six months and have learned a few things. First off, if you don't have cable internet that will likely produce a problem. I say get faster internet because its price won't make up for the amount you are saving. Or in other words you will save more than you spend by not having a phone line and having faster internet. I love magic jack , with the new software update just released it's now even more stable and reliable than ever before. All our calls are clear and crisp. BTW if you connect it via a USB hub, make absolutely sure, that said hub is self powered! This will lighten the electrical load on your usb interface with the computer, also making magic jack more reliable. TRUST ME ON THIS IT WILL REALLY HELP! Magic jack is a great device, but it does use a fair amount of resources for operation. Sorry no device or service that affordable will be perfect. Maybe someday. Good luck.

I'm planning to purchase a Belkin USB Hub, but I'm not sure if the Magic Jack will work with this device. What USB hub are you using? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
